Copy Editing and Proofreading
Take all worries away when it comes to your copy editing and proofreading needs. I’ll go over your material with a skeptical eye and if there are errors, I’ll find them for you.
Copy Editing and Proofreading Services Include:
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Capitalization
- Punctuation
- Awkward phrasing
- Awkward flow of information
Copy editing and proofreading services start at $5 per page (up to 500 words); $10 per page (501-1,000) words. Pages over 1,000 words are billed at $10 increments per additional 1,000 words. (I.e., 1,600 word page is a cost of $20 for copy editing services.)
Break down (per single article/blog post):
- Up to 500 word count = $5.00
- 501 – 1,000 word count = $10.00
- 1,001 – 2,000 word count = $20.00
- 2,001 – 3,000 word count = $30.00
- 3,001 – 4,000 word count = $40.00
- Each additional 1,000 word count increments add $10.00.
Additional Information:
- MS Word is used for accurate word count guide.
- Payment method is PayPal or Post Office Money Order (PayPal is preferred – sorry no checks or credit cards at this time.)
- $50.00 retainer payment required to initiate contract.
- Contractual agreement signed by both parties.
- An updated financial statement/invoice is submitted to the client with each submitted assignment. (Ask for a sample.) There will never be a question of the payment balance and credit left toward future copy editing work.
Other editing projects receive custom quotes.
Copy Editing and Proofreading Services Do Not Include:
- Fact verification.
- Content rewriting.
Editing services include correcting only the technical aspects of written material. If you need to have content re-written, a quote can be provided for copy writing services. Material being re-written is researched to collect new information to put a fresh spin on it.
