Birdie’s Favorite Coupon and Discount Sites

I love to save money, one of my favorite things really. I get all sorts of irked if I have to pay full price for some­thing and will only do so if it is an emer­gency. There are sev­eral sites that I go to for coupons and dis­counts, but there are really three that are my go-to sites. Drum roll please….

Retail Me Not

How do you not love a site with a name like that? You put in the web­site you are inter­ested in, into their search engine and up pops coupon codes for dis­counts, free­bies, free ship­ping, and pretty much any­thing else you can think of. This is mostly good for online coupons and dis­counts but you can occa­sion­ally find print­a­bles here too. This is always my first stop. Another super nice thing is that other users will rate the coupon and I will often find a coupon that was listed months ago with a recent com­ment say­ing it is still active. There are numer­ous ‘coupon code’ sites out there, but this is by far the best.

Wow Coupons

This is usu­ally my sec­ond stop. They have online coupons but have a larger vari­ety of print­able coupons for “real” stores. You know…the ones you have to drive to. ::sigh:: I hate hav­ing to drive to stores, but that is another post for another day. Any­way, you can search by store name or browse the stores by let­ter. They have lit­tle icons to tell you if it is a new coupon, about to expire, an e-coupon, or if it is exclu­sively avail­able on Wow. I don’t usu­ally read oth­ers talk­ing about this site, but it is awe­some and I’ve been using it for years.

My Gift With Purchase

So, it turns out I have some addic­tions that make no sense. Like, I love makeup but almost never wear it. Stu­pid, right? Any­who. When you com­bine free stuff and makeup, I really can’t help myself. I LOVE those gift with pur­chase events and this web­site has it all. She lists every sin­gle gift with pur­chase (at least I’ve never found one not listed on her site) and tells you how to qual­ify and what is in the set. She also updates to let you know when it ends so you don’t waste time try­ing to get it. This is def­i­nitely a niche sav­ings site (because if it is free, it totally qual­i­fies as sav­ing money) but this is my list and dang it, I love it!

That’s it for me. There are other sav­ings sites out there with their own fan base, but I tend to stick with the first two for almost every­thing that I don’t get straight from a retailer/manufacturer. The last one is a lit­tle splurge for myself. I check it often and when I find a REALLY good free­bie that doesn’t require I spend a ton, I indulge and try a lit­tle some­thing new. Check them out, save money, and have fun!
